Terms of Use
Last updated October 15, 2026
In short: you pay once and can use Agent Limit on your Mac. Updates are included while we provide them. The app shows usage that providers report, which can occasionally be wrong or change, so use it as a guide. Refunds are available within 14 days.
1. The license
When you buy Agent Limit, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Macs you own or control, up to the number of activations included with your key. You can move your license by deactivating it in Settings on one Mac and activating it on another. You may not share, resell or publish your license key, or try to get around the license check.
2. Payment
Agent Limit is a one-time purchase. Payment is processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record, which may add local taxes at checkout. Polar's terms also apply to your purchase.
3. Updates
Updates we release are free for license holders and are offered through the app. We may change, add or remove features over time.
4. Third-party services
Agent Limit reads usage from Claude, Codex, Cursor and Grok, using the accounts you already have with them. Some of these usage sources aren't officially documented and may change or stop working without notice. When that happens, we'll try to fix it in an update, but we can't guarantee that every provider will always be supported. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. Agent Limit is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, OpenAI, Anysphere (Cursor) or xAI.
5. Accuracy
Usage numbers, pace estimates and run-out times are shown as reported or calculated, and can be delayed or inaccurate. Don't rely on them for decisions where being wrong would cause you harm or loss.
6. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as described in our refund policy. When we refund a purchase, we disable its license key.
7. No warranty
Agent Limit is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will be error-free or always available.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to Agent Limit is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost work or interrupted sessions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
